Time for Some Change!

Some promise has shown itself for my business, it never quite got off it's feet the first year due to my laziness of never really advertising it well on the web or locally, but after being re-inspired (if that's a word?) by a friend who wishes to take off on her own jewelry business, I have decided to get back on the old proverbial horse, so to speak.

I have not only begun posting my services on ebay (where it seems like I spend half of my earnings) but also have received an interesting offer to become a third party with Amazon through a representative who has contacted me.

After reviewing my site, I have decided to revamp a couple of my pages- to make it look a little more professional. Apparently some of my old works I am trying to show on my gallery page doesn't look the greatest in graphics due to me uploading it from one of my past computers where for some reason in the process I have managed to lose the original document and it doesn't look that great in quality.

I am in full fledged hopes that I can do this before the end of this year (since it IS the beginning of 2010 after all..) while juggling the new concept of being a mother--who knew babies could be so needy ? :)

Continuing on with Advertising

So begins the road of increased advertising to get more views on our site! I am in the process of creating more varieties of poems for more selection for our customers but am very relieved to see it all coming together. Business cards should be out soon! Working currently on a website for a fellow friend who is beginning her cake business and loving every minute of it!

Now that I have a little one on the way, things haven't been as fast advancing as before, but I am very excited to be able to have something that marks another adventure in my life. If anyone has any suggestions of poetry they would like to see or other services, let me know! I am all up for ideas.

Completing the Site's Blog and Putting on Finishing Touches

Today is the first day of setting up our new Blogger Gifts From the Heart Blog to record progress of the most up-to-date events going on with our new website. I can say that it is officially the first day of our site being advertised and open to the online public today! What a day to celebrate. It has been my pride and joy to put up a site with my own personal touches selling the things I have been fuel to passion to create as works of art.

Now, the clencher is to see how my baby takes off.

Although there are a lot of things still under construction, the majority is complete.
